Shirley Arlene (Bruce) Scott was born on May 20th 1949 in Aurelia, Iowa. She passed away on December 24th 2024 in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Doug and Shirley were married June 1st 1968 and remained together for 56 years, They had three children Kevin K. Scott born November 16th 1968 -April 23, 2006. Tracie M. (Scott) Derochie born July 22nd, 1971. Brian R. Scott born December 28th 1973 – March 20th, 1994.
Doug and Shirley had many great adventures as they traveled around the country with their vending business in their early retirement. Doug loved fishing, hunting and gardening. Shirley was an avid quilter, she enjoyed playing cards and board games as well as lunches with her friends. They loved spending time with their grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
They will be laid to rest together Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Aurelia, Iowa. All are welcome to join the family as we celebrate their lives.
