Charles (Chuck) Lundquist 82 of Aurelia, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Accura Healthcare of Aurelia.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  The Redig Funeral Home of Aurelia is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Melven Lundquist was born on April 22, 1941 in Cherokee to Levi & Marian (Casey) Lundquist.  Chuck graduated from the Aurelia High School in 1959.  Then graduated from Buena Vista College with his teaching certificate.  On June 18, 1960 Chuck was united in marriage to Sylvia Luetkeman.  Chuck taught school in Eastern, Iowa, Arizona and Southern California before coming back to Cherokee County to farm in 1980.  Chuck was a Mason and Shriner. He loved to fish and enjoyed people and spending time with his family.

Preceding Chuck in death were his parents, one brother, Robert.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sylvia, one son and his wife, Jeffery and Heather Lundquist of Atlantic, IA.  One daughter and her husband, Deborah and Allen Stange of Aurelia.  Four grandchildren: Stephanie Stange and her special friend Nick Radke, Brett and his wife Kelsi Stange, Pamela Fixmer and special friend Preston Casey, Sarah and her husband Andrew Post.  One sister, Mary Louise Gustafson of Minneapolis, MN. Sister-in-law, Joanne Lundquist of Cherokee.  One brother-in-law, Steve and his wife Joanne Luetkeman of Storm Lake.  Other relatives and a host of friends.
