Graveside services for Don E. Larson, 72, of Aurelia will be Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 5623 V Ave., Aurelia, with Pastor Bruce Rapp officiating. V Ave. is closed north of the cemetery, take M21 south, the second curve is V Ave., then go north to cemetery. Also being inurned will be: Don’s two sisters; Alice Vesgaard Nelson, and Judy Langus, brother-in-law Dennis Vesgaard, and nephew Robert Vesgaard. The Redig Funeral Home of Aurelia is in charge of the arrangements.

Don Edward Larson was born February 6, 1950 the son of Edward and Josephine (DeGraaf) Larson in Sioux City, Iowa. He was raised in Hinton where he graduated from high school. Don worked various jobs around the country, helping out in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina hit. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, fishing, riding ATV’s, and he loved to visit with everyone.

Don died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at his home in Aurelia.

Preceding Don in death were his parents, two sisters; Judy Langus and Alice Vesgaard Nelson, one nephew, Robbie Vesgaard, and two brothers-in-law; Dennis Vesgaard and Mark Nelson.

Survivors include one son, Donovan, two nieces; Holly Chappel and Hillary Yager, and many friends.
