Funeral services for Marilyn J. Klockow, 75, of Aurelia, will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 10:30 A.M., at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia, with Pastor Larry Lemke officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Aurelia. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with the family present, at the church. The Redig Funeral Home in Aurelia is in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn Joyce Klockow was born on August 20, 1939 in Alta, IA, the daughter of Arnold Emil and Frieda Anna (Hansen) Klockow. She graduated from the Brooke Consolidated School in 1957. Marilyn was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery, watching basketball and other sports, listening to news and discussing politics and activities with her niece and nephews and their families.

Marilyn died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee, IA.

Preceding Marilyn in death were her parents, her sister Margaret Koch and her brother-in-law Robert Koch, and her brother Robert Klockow.

Survivors include one niece, Beverly and her husband Dale Wordekemper of Storm Lake, and three nephews; Randy and his wife Sharon Koch of Storm Lake, Ken and his wife Cathie Koch of Knox, IN, and Dave and his wife Jill Koch of Cedar Rapids, IA. Also surviving are great nieces and nephews; Kari, Doug and wife Jill, Lindsey and husband Zach Kroenke, and Eric Wordekemper, Jeremiah Koch, Amy and husband Chris Frank, Josh and wife Alaina, and Jake and wife Tigre Koch, and Adam and Allison Koch, great-great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
